Day 1
Travel to the beautiful Brandywine Valley, located in southeastern Pennsylvania and northern Delaware. Enjoy Longwood Gardens this afternoon. Longwood is transformed into a winter wonderland with elaborate and beautifully themed decorations. Stay two nights in Wilmington, DE.
DDay 2
This morning, tour the Hagley Museum and Library, where the DuPont family fortune began. During the holiday season, the renowned home is transformed to celebrate and honor French holiday traditions. Next, visit the Winterthur Museum & Country Estate. Your Yuletide admission includes a tour of the country house. Tonight, experience the Holiday Lights Express - a peaceful interlude with an evening ride aboard a vintage train, which is covered in thousands of holiday lights.

Visit the Brandywine River Museum - now known as the Brandywine Museum of Art - in the renovated Hoffman’s Mill, a former gristmill built in 1864. Enjoy the Barrel Room Tasting Experience at the Chaddsford Winery. Includes a greeting wine and four wines that are paired with cheeses, meats, and/or treats.

Walking Code 3: This tour includes moderate physical activity. The itinerary blends some longer days with shorter days and more leisure time. Walking tours, as well as walking slightly longer distances, up stairs or on uneven walking surfaces should be expected.
