Day 1

“Catskill Resorts” conjure up images from the movie Dirty Dancing. The Villa Roma Resort, in New York, has kept all the quaintness of the Catskill Resort era, while moving forward into the 21st Century. Enjoy an overnight at the Villa Roma Resort.

Day 2

Travel to the site of the Woodstock concert and visit the Bethel Woods Center for the Arts where vibrant, interactive exhibits, programs, and events celebrate the 1969 Woodstock Music and Art Fair and the entire decade that it came to represent. The museum has been curated so you can enjoy this flashback reliving the concert and events of the time that defined a generation. Groovy man!

Visit the National Baseball Hall of Fame - Was it the 1971 Pirates or Roberto Clemente that cemented baseball into your American identity? Overnight at the award-winning resort nestled in Central NY - the Turning Stone Casino.

Day 3

After breakfast travel to Rochester, NY - then Niagara Falls, NY. George Eastman Museum. The historic mansion and gardens provide a glimpse into the life of one of the greatest American innovators and entertainers in the first decades of the twentieth century.

The Strong National Museum of Play is one of the largest history museums in the United States and is home to the National Toy Hall of Fame and the World Video Game Hall of Fame. Remember pinball machines, nerf balls, Barbie, Easy Bake Ovens and Matchbook cars? Become a child again!

Overnight in Niagara Falls, NY. After dinner, walk to the Falls for the evening illumination! Each evening the falls are lighted in a beautiful colorful display!

Day 4

Niagara Falls Maybe it’s a culmination of all the heart-pounding excitement that happens in Niagara Falls USA that makes it easier for romance. Maybe it’s all the surrounding natural beauty that helps open everyone’s hearts. Whatever it is, there’s a reason that Niagara Falls is the “Honeymoon Capital of World.”

Maid of the Mist. Hear the crashing falls. See the breathtaking views. Soak up every drop of powerful spray aboard the famous Maid of the Mist boat ride to the falls. It’s the best way to experience one of the world’s most amazing natural wonders.

Herschell Carrousel Factory - The Herschell Carrousel Factory produced over 3,000 hand carved wooden carousels in the early 1900’s. Ride 2 carrousels, listen to Wurlitzers, and become a child again!

6:00 am - Monroeville

6:30 am - Pittsburgh

7:00 am - Sewickley

 

Return: Approximate return to the Pittsburgh area between 6:00-7:00 pm

 

Walking Code: 4 - This tour requires a heavy amount of walking. To truly experience the program and destination, you need to be able to participate in physical activities such as long walking tours, walking over uneven terrain, climbing stairs and periods of standing. Some of the touring days may be longer, with select included activities occurring later in the evening.

 

Insurance: Travel Insurance is optional. To be eligible for the waiver of pre-existing medical condition exclusion, the protection plan must be purchased within 15 days from the time you make your initial trip deposit and for the prepaid non-refundable payments or deposits. If purchased, the insurance premium is refundable during the 15 day review period, unless you have filed a claim or departed on your trip.
