Day 1
Day 1: When you arrive in Mansfield, OH, you will meet your tour guide for the next two days. Lunch will be in the Historic Carrousel District. (on own). After lunch you will visit one of the largest castle-like structures in the USA, The Ohio State Reformatory. Four motion pictures were filmed there, including the Shawshank Redemption.
After checking in and freshening up at your hotel, you will have dinner at Blue Berry Patch and Winery. The Blueberry Patch is Ohio's Premier Blueberry plantation. They have been in business for over 40 years! You will find everything blueberry here! (D)
Day 2
Day 2: Enjoy breakfast at your hotel. The first stop of the day will be the Big House at Malabar Farms. Learn how Louis Bromfield turned his dream into Malabar Farm. Currently the State of Ohio has the deed for Malabar Farm and has pledged to preserve the beauty and ecological value of the farm.
The next stop will be Ohio Bird Sanctuary! This is a haven for native birds. The 90 acre preserve actively aids sick and injured birds back to health. Their goal is to release injured birds back into the wilds, although that is not always possible. The sanctuary is home to 87 permanent residents. (Raptors, vultures and song birds to name a few!).
At Richland Carrousel Park, a carrousel is always in style! Experience the old-fashioned charm in a fun, modern setting as you venture on a chariot or ride one of the dozens of colorful, hand-carved animals.
Lunch will be at Der Dutchman before your final stop of the day Wayne’s Country Market! You may purchase local produce as well as craft beer and wines.
Return to Pittsburgh. (B, L)

Cancellation Policy: Up to 45 days prior to departure - Full refund less any non-refundable charges (i.e. theater tickets, hotel rooms, service fees, etc.) unless notification of difference is noted on tour description. NO REFUND after balance due date.
Written notice of cancellation is required before monies refunded: mail, email or fax.

Return: Approximately between 8:30-9:30 pm
WALKING CODE: 3 This tour includes moderate physical activity. The itinerary blends some longer days with shorter days and more leisure time. Walking tours, as well as walking slightly longer distances, up stairs or on uneven walking surfaces should be expected.
Travel Insurance is optional. To be eligible for the waiver of pre-existing medical condition exclusion, the protection plan must be purchased within 15 days from the time you make your initial trip deposit and for the prepaid non-refundable payments or deposits. If purchased, the insurance premium is refundable during the 15 day review period, unless you have filed a claim or departed on your trip. The insurance premium is non-refundable after the 15 day review period.
