Day 1
Travel to Charlotte, NC for an overnight.
Day 2
Depart for Savannah for a guided tour of the Savannah Historic District. Stay at the historical Hotel Tybee on Tybee Island for three nights. The hotel is the winner of "Best of Best Hotel" in the Coastal Empire for 2019 and has been providing island-style Southern hospitality for more than 129 years.
CB, DDay 3
Enjoy a morning visit to the Tybee Island Lighthouse and Museum and a picnic boxed lunch at the Pinpoint Heritage Museum. Dinner will be at Paula Deen’s Creek House Restaurant on Wilmington Island.
CB, BL, DDay 4
Free day at the beach. Enjoy a dinner and cruise with entertainment about the Savannah River Queen.
CB, DDay 5
Visit the Isaiah Davenport House Museum in the historic district of Savannah. There will be free time along famous River Street, where the old cotton warehouses have been turned into charming shops and restaurants. Depart in the afternoon for your overnight in Charlotte, NC
CBDay 6
Depart for home.

Walking Code 3: This tour includes moderate physical activity. The itinerary blends some longer days with shorter days and more leisure time. Walking tours, as well as walking slightly longer distances, up stairs or on uneven walking surfaces should be expected.
Insurance: Travel Insurance is optional. To be eligible for the waiver of pre-existing medical condition exclusion, the protection plan must be purchased within 15 days from the time you make your initial trip deposit and for the prepaid non-refundable payments or deposits. If purchased, the insurance premium is refundable during the 15 day review period, unless you have filed a claim or departed on your trip.
