Day 1
Today you will pick up your step-on-guide before arriving in Connellsville, PA. You will see Harry Clark’s HO Scale Model Railroad Display. This is one of the most incredibly built model railroads you will every see! This is located in the Connellsville Canteen, a recreated B & O Train Station that commemorates the women who served the troops on trains passing through during WWII. Next to the Canteen and train display you will find the Appalachian Creativity Center, a unique gallery featuring artwork and various crafts of local artists.
A stop at Colebrook’s Chocolates will provide delicious samples and an opportunity to purchase excellent quality chocolates!
There will be a lunch stop (On Own) at a convenient location.
At Craftique Collections in Greensburg you will enjoy a light snack while browsing through this large shop featuring a wide variety of goods, all from local individuals.
Enjoy an early dinner at DiSalvo’s Station Restaurant. Located in a restored train station. The food and atmosphere are outstanding!
Following dinner you will take a drive through Overly Country Christmas display with more than a million lights. Also enjoy a bonfire, train display, shops and more. Following the Overly visit you will say goodbye to your guide and depart for home.
